Art In Motion
Art in Motion (AIM) is a dynamic organisation that collaborates with learning-disabled and neurodivergent artists to create artwork. We provide opportunities for artists who face disabling barriers to develop and sustain their art practice.
AIM champion inclusivity and creativity, opening doors to the arts and increasing belonging within the artist community. We are a not-for-profit arts organisation, and are based in Bristol, UK.
We provide opportunities for individuals to develop their art practice, learn new skills, broaden their experience, and showcase their work through exhibitions and events.
We have recently relocated our studios to a new home at Arnolfini, where will be Creatives In Residence!

Artists
Our artists are at the core of everything we do. They are a multi
talented collective who have exhibited their work both locally and internationally.

Current Projects
AIM projects provide opportunities for artists with learning
disabilities to develop their creative practice, expand their
creativity and share work publicly.

Stuff We’ve Done
The AIM artists have been involved in many kinds of projects and events, both individually and as part of a collective.

AIM’s mission is to reduce inequalities in the visual arts; enhance the well-being of artists with learning disabilities by supporting them to engage in the arts; and to improve perceptions of the ability of people with learning disabilities to fully contribute and participate in contemporary art.
