Beth

About

Beth’s artwork uses different materials, with a particular focus on ceramics, pottery and paint. The themes in her work are often faces, and playing with faces. Her main inspirations for this type of practice are bold colours, experimenting, having fun, and a sense of humour.

Beth has been with AIM for around six years. “Wednesdays are my best day of the week! What I like best about AIM is trying new things, also meeting new friends and exhibiting work”.

What Beth enjoys most about making art is coming up with her own ideas, and seeing how they turn out. She likes putting her big ideas on paper. Beth’s favourite artwork is the love triangle artwork, made for Spike Open Studios 2025. Her goals for the future are people buying her artwork, exhibiting in galleries, and going on holidays and trips!

If Beth could give any advice to other people wanting to become an artist, it would be try it – you’ll love it! There is no wrong way of doing art. Practice makes perfect.
