2019 INTERNATIONAL WOOL SYMPOSIUM
Betty Sargent was invited to take part in the 2019 international wool symposium, which tookplace in El Arreciado, Toledo Spain, from 21 – 26 May 2019.
This was a six-day residency where artists with and without disabilities carried out creative invesitgation. Betty chose to work with freshly shorn wool, in the beautiful natural setting of Toledo in central Spain.
Working with our partners in Madrid
We carried out continued work and collaboration with our partners Debajo del Sombrero in Madrid, and in 2019, AIM artist Betty Sargent was invited in to run a workshop for a group at the Matadero.
