About the Book

The Mermaid’s Hair is Water brings together poems by:

Jonathan Barr Lindsay · Emily Boden · Aisha Jawo · Dave Pearse · Beth Richards · Betty Sargent · Katy Tovey

The poets pooled their imaginations to create this collection. Some poems were written collaboratively, others individually, but every piece was inspired by Everything is Energy, an exhibition by Emma Talbot at Arnolfini. The exhibition acted as a creative spark, with each writer responding in their own voice.
