At AIM, we exist to help build a more inclusive and representative arts community. AIM supports artists who face disabling barriers to develop and sustain their practice, access meaningful opportunities and grow in confidence, visibility and ambition over time.

AIM provides supported studio space, artist development programmes, workshops, exhibitions and creative opportunities that help artists develop their practice, build confidence and connect with wider audiences. Collaboration is also at the heart of everything we do. The artists we work with actively shape what happens in the studio, from the projects we develop to the skills we explore and the ways in which work is shared with the public. This shared ownership helps create a space that is responsive, empowering and rooted in lived experience.

But for small, community-based arts organisations, the funding landscape is becoming increasingly difficult. Yet the need for spaces like AIM has never been greater.
