Could you be our next Marketing, Communications & Development Trustee?
Art in Motion (AIM) is a Bristol-based, disability-led arts organisation working alongside learning-disabled and neurodivergent artists. We create opportunities for them to develop their practice, exhibit and connect with the wider contemporary arts world.
After a year of growth, including our move to Arnolfini as Creatives in Residence, we’re looking for a trustee with marketing, communications or digital experience to help more people discover our work and build the relationships that will support our future.
You don’t need to have been a trustee before. We care most about your skills, your ideas and your interest in widening who gets seen, heard and taken seriously in contemporary art.
This is a strategic Board role, not a hands-on social media job. You’ll work with the Director, the Board and the AIM team.
- Meetings: five a year, online or in person (at least two in person)
- Role: voluntary, with expenses, including travel and access costs, reimbursed
- Support: full induction and training provided
We particularly welcome applications from disabled and neurodivergent people, and from people under-represented on arts boards. If successful, we’ll make any adjustments you need.
To apply: send your CV and a short cover letter (or a short video or audio message) to info@artinmotion.org.uk. We’re happy to have an informal chat first to answer any questions or provide more information about the role.
Closing date: 27 November 2026 | Interviews: beginning of December
Please reply to info@artinmotion.org.uk
